Gus and Al’s Fantasy Football League

Gus and Al’s Fantasy Football League

Overview

Gus and Al’s Fantasy Football League was founded in 1998 by Adam and Donavan.  The league started its first season with 10 teams.  The first ever league championship was Tony “Cockface” Wendorf.  He was the Art Modell of Fantasy Football.  Everybody hated him.  The second season of Gus and Al only fielded 8 teams, but they were a strong eight teams.  Until Tony “the Cockface” Wendorf won the league championship for a second straight season.  The highlight of the second season was clearly when Jason “Tubby” Weis’s eight place team mollywhopped the first seeded team owned by commissioner Donavan “some people call me a space cowboy” Haidinger.  Somehow the league invitation never made it to Tony “the smelly Cockface” Wendorf for the third season.  Out of the dust of season 2, Matt “Mr. Snuggles” Holsen took his team the distance to become the second and only notable league champion in Gus and Al history.  Much of Holsen’s success was given to his wearing of Tom Landry’s hat for the latter half of the season.  Mike “the not so evil as Donavan, but still fairly evil” Holsen’s expansion team emerged as an unstoppable offensive behemoth.  However, after riding Daunte Culpepper like a Chinese whorebitch, his offensive juggernaut took a dive in the playoffs, following true Minnesota form.  I wonder what hilarious adventures these lovable scamps will find themselves in next……..
